Good idea, I just made an account. Now I have to upload some pictures. How do I embed them in the form?

When you are looking at a photo you will see a right-facing arrow to the right side of the photo. Click on that, pick the size you want and copy the link. Then paste it into the thread and you get this.

Yep that works! Now I just have to upload the pictures from the camera so it has the data attached.

Those seem to be focused a lot better! I really like the lighting on the first one, and of course the facial expression is hard to beat!

I think these are really nice Devon. How are you liking the camera? I guess you noted that the D500 does not have a flash.

Pat I love the camera the more I get use to the button layout and use it the more I like it. I would say that it has everything I would ever need and more to get me buy for at least the next 5+ years, just expand on glass and knowledge. This camera is a beast!

    Devon,
Your pics are looking great...and your model is a real sweet heart!

One thing you may want to play with is the effect of aperture on your images. Your camera has different modes. If you put it in AV (aperture priority) you can set it to various apertures and see how it affects depth of field.(the part of the image thats in focus) If you focus on the same subject and change the lens aperture you can learn alot thats useful. Like blurring the back ground of a picture or getting the most detail. Im not familiar with nikons but maybe the others can help guide you.
