Some B&W conversions from a big wheel bike race. Used a little sepia B&W conversion to try to give the images an older feel.
I like the old bikes with the new bike helmets!

Those look great, I like how you used motion to capture the action of the shot. Tells a bigger story rather than seeing a freezed image of a guy on a big wheel. They should have worn top hats though lol

Love these Stan and like Devon said, the sense of motion really makes these images work. Love the expressions on the faces; one intensive and the other happy in the first two images. Are they wearing period garments? Where did this happen?

Nice photos! The old bikes and new gear kind of throw you off but it's interesting. I wonder what it's like to ride one of those.

This is a Md, bike club and they hold "races" . They also have an old bike show/parade.
Some do wear period clothing.

Matt, there is no free wheel, so you are always pedaling, the original fixie. Most of the riders that I talked to said when you want to turn, just look in that direction and the bike will follow!
