I caught a series of images of one spoonbill asserting dominance over another in this series of images. Lighting is not the best but you can see the emotion and intent of the birds.

Thanks Matt, the D5 wore me out at Gatorland the day before these shots plus I needed the extra reach with the D500. I do have a similar set with egrets with the D5. The background is not great however.
