top fish looks loads better, the white patch just looks like it could be something fungal but will heal up on its own, a salt dip would definitely do this spot a ton of good. or even pulling him and swabbing a bit of concentrated salt water on that spot directly. The second one just needs more time with lots of water changes. the chances of him ever growing to full size are slim, he will likely be stunted for life because of your water quality issues during his juvenile stage. most people would cull him fyi, but I feel certain this isn't a path you want to take. I would give the second one another week see how he does with just salt in the tank and then perhaps he will be strong enough for a salt dip of his own.

You are adding salt to your tank with water changes aren't you. I cant stress enough how much this will help your situation in general right now.

Yes ive been adding salt to it everytime I do a water change.

So the fungal growth should clear up on its own?

What is your views towards Melaflex and pimafix ?

The second one was solid black and not eating. I finally saw him grubbing on blood worms this am.

Load your video on "Youtube" and then post the link of your video here.

both melafix and pimafix are garbage. they have no real medicinal value....most call them snake oil. throw them out. just add salt and do not add anything else other than fresh water.

Sean, this looks worse in the video than it does in pictures. The tattered fins look like bacterial and not fungal any more. Can you get your ands on some API furan 2 from a regular PetSmart/LFS?

It's seems to have gotten worse over the past 3 days, the water changes are helping the original guy I posted but my 2 smallest have this growth or something.

It's possible I'd be able to check this afternoon when I get off work.

    What is api furan 2?

I'll get another video up in a lil cause it seems the video is way better to see what may be going on with the fish.

Sean, I am going out of town this weekend and will be off the grid until sunday. I am sure Al or others will come along with more help, but incase you are considering dumping Melafix in the tank now that I have mentioned bacterial infection, read this
    http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showth...fix-Work/page2

Were it me, I would go purchase furan 2 and follow the directions on the box for your sized tank, continue waterchanges during treatment, and add back the proper amount of medication after each water change.
