I wanna see some of him catching the fish in the water next Al!! Great shots, the fish is as big as the bird!! Used to have some KF hang around our farm pond, wonder if they are still around. I haven't been out there in some time, not to spend any real time at least. Maybe this summer.

I don't think it's a Bowfin, tail is wrong for a Bowfin. They usually have a rounded tail. I don't think it's snout looks long enough to be some sort of Pickerel/Pike/etc but it could be the angle.....possibly some type of Juvi trout? Interested to see what the experts come back with.
