Eating at last!!!

At last!

One of my discus is finally eating!!!
I have no idea why the little swine stopped eating and went into hiding, my poor daughter wondered what on earth was going on as i kept her well away from the tank. I had the tank lights on but the room lights off, and would sit and watch for hours.

I even had the food that sticks on the side of the tank at opposite ends of the tank as one of my blues gets quite annoyed at the others when wedding and chases them off. (it seems that this is the amano's fav food- they swarmed over it in seconds! lol)

Why was i so concerned about a bloody fish? its only a bloody fish!

I have never got attached to fish before, I have appreciated the beauty of fish, and taken pride in the appearance of all my tanks over the years, and spent many hours pouring over books and the internet to get ideas, spent an age and a fortune in getting my water quality just right.

BUT I HAVE NEVER BEEN ATTACHED TO A FISH BEFORE.

Well as i have stated in a previous post, i hate you all for having this site and other discus sites that make the fish so appealing, i have succumbed to the discus and am now a follower of this beautiful yet annoying fish!!

dont you worry about it, this place is full of your kind! I spend 2 hours to get rid of a tiny algae in the far corner of my tank last night and felt asleep hugging the tank after that
