    Default WC using a pump

I'm looking for a quicker way to drain my tank for water changes. Does anyone use a pump and if so which one ?
    Thanks,
    Zippy

How much water? I got this pump and it removes 75 gallons from my tank in 3 minutes.

Great price right now @ $90.

    Thanks Clawhammer,

I have a 90 gal. tank and want to use it externally to pump water from the tank through a window to the outside of my house. During the winter I would probably pump the water to a sink. Hoping to make WCs quicker and easier.

i have the Wayne PC4 external transfer pump. i drain 35g in 1 minute 37 seconds to be exact. $125 plus the 3 year extended warranty from home depot. so all together $150. 3/4'' hose and a switch of some sort is needed. i just plug it into an inline ground fault. it is the best.

I bough a Mag 12 for this reason. It comes with a nice big prefilter sponge, and as a bonus my python water changer attaches to it directly. Highly recommended.

I have a blueline 55HD and use it for my 450 gal. WC, takes about 30 minutes.

I have a Mag 7 and Mag 18. They're great for water changes. Submersible so you don't have to worry about priming them. The Mag 18 will easily pump water up one story and through 50+ feet of 1/2" ID tubing.
