    Default spiderlings

I went out for a walk this morning on a trail . I was hoping for some wood frogs or birds to photo. It was a pretty disappointing trail. Not much going on....so after a few miles I turned around and headed home. I got within 2 min of the parking lot and saw a tree stump that looks shiny. Like covered in Ice. It wasn't Ice. It was nest of tiny little critters. I didn't have a tripod with me, but hand held FA 50 2.8 Macro.

Didn't see the mother, so have no idea what kind of spiders these are. They were probably eggs over the winter that hatched. Kind of funny I walked past these and missed them, Hiked 3 miles depressed that there was nothing really spectacular to take pics of and stumbled on these at the beginning of the trail!

Reminded me of an old Xfiles episode where people were being attacked and eaten by a giant nest of spiderlings!

Nice! Great details! They almost resemble ants at first glance with their color.
