Default API Pond CL neutralizer for aquarium use?

I was wondering, if anyone is using API Pond Chlorine & Heavy Metal Neutralizer for their tap water conditioning? I see a 32-oz bottle being sold for $12. This treats 19,000 gal. It would certainly be much cheaper than the aquarium versions.

    Thanks,

    JC

You can use Seachem safe, 8.8 oz ( 250 g) for around the same price and do 60,000 gallons.
