Hi
One month ago, I came home to find that one of my pairs are laying eggs on the heater, I turned the heater off.
That was the last time I have seen the male fertilizing eggs..
I think his tube got burned, Also I noticed that his tube became smaller, and when the female lays eggs, his tube never comes out as used to be..
Yesterday the female laid eggs again, I kept watching, he just kept watching without even trying to fertilize the eggs..
Any help!
Thanks.

Ouch
Its me "Prabhu" I am just a little angry these days
lol, many of us wouldn't know how to fix ours properly, not to mention the fish ^____^;
i would just give him plenty of good clean water and hope for the best. in the meantime there are heater guards u can buy to protect fish from heater damage. u can also build ur own heater guards using pvc tubes with holes drilled in them, there are likely how-to vids of this on youtube.
