Very intresting looking tanks, I have not seen a plywook build with a clear epoxy before, It looks super nice.

How did you treat the seems? And in case I west systems epoxy is not available at my place, any particular specifications to look for when selecting an epoxy? or anything to avoide?

You should consider asking the Moderators to move this thread to the Fish Room Section:

    http://forum.simplydiscus.com/forumd...-Room-Projects

We are starved for Fish Room Projects over there... . I think you'll get more press too.

What an original idea of having lightweight wooden tanks Rex . I never knew that plywood tank is even possible .
How do you seal together the sides ? Do you use a silicone or some other glue to seal the parts together ?

Your fishroom is great too Rex , but I guess your plywood tanks took all the glory from it

    Thanks Filip,
It's just glued, screwed and then coated in marine epoxy resin so it's nothing special really. I have managed to fill it with fry over the last few months..

    Nice work Rex!
I have heard of plywood aquariums but have never seen them in action like this.
This is awesome! One day when I build a fish room I would definitely consider this. If you have the building instructions you can share it would be great!
    Thanks
