    Default Egg eating Problem

    Hello dear friends,

I have a problem with my Red Melons.

There is a red melon discus pair breeding for a about 8 months now. But they still have the habit of eating the eggs.

I know pairs who are new to breeding tend to eat eggs. But this pair isnt new to breeding.

I dont know how to stop them.

    Please help

FYI - I use PVC pipes to breed them

Cover the eggs. As soon as they hatch chances are they are attached to the larvae and do not eat them.

Yes cover them. If you are using a cone, you can make a cover from plastic gutter guard that will do trick.
