    DISEASE QUESTIONNAIRE Problem 1. Fin appears to have a white cotton look 2. No symptoms or effects 3. Dolphin no 4. Salt in tank 2 table spoons 5.Water change 2 times per week 20 % per change. Tank running 4 months thin gravel bed 7. Do you age your water? No 8. Parameters and water - temp __29 degrees Celsius ___ - ph ____7.2_ - ammonia reading __0__ - nitrite reading ___0_ - nitrate reading ___2_ municipal water 9. Any new fish or plants none 10. Please tell us what you feed your fish and how often. Blood worm in morning hakiri discus mixed with seachem garlic guard in evening

    Chris,
    Its definitetly not easy to figure it out without the pics but if you are sure the one you posted looks like it I would suggest trying a salt dip...

    Its the safest way to deal with external issues in general like these. Id give it a try ...if that doesnt work then you could try something like furan 2. The fish should be moved to a hospital tank for treatment if at all possible.
