Could be hours, could be days or it could never happen. I've had all three.
'Possible' pair has been cleaning cone for about 1.5 days, just wondering how long can they clean the cone (how long it last?) before laying eggs?

I guess patience is really is the key.
Is it possible for 2 males trying to spawn with each other? I hear 2 females can.
Patience is absolutely the key but the hardest part of breeding!! I've never seen nor heard of two males trying to breed with each. I think with two females it isn't so much that they are trying to breed with each other as much as it is one bringing out the maternal instincts in the other. I have often seen a male start cleaning a site before seeing the female show any interest. Sort of as if he were trying to entice her.
