Re: My 265g wild
The reason for using the kessil would be to program it to a dim setting and only get a single column of light in the center of the tank in not looking to light the whole thing

Really nice looking fish and thanks for all the info! You seem to echo many of the same sentiments I share about my experience from domestics to wilds. Sounds like you are doing really well with them!
So is it a mix of some tefe or maybe RSG and some type of blue heckle?
I am happy to hear you plan to add more! That tank is going to look gorgeous stocked full of beautiful discus from Mark! I can't wait to watch it progress!
Good luck with your lighting choice as well! Ryan has a lot of experience there and should be a big help. I too have the satelite pro, not the plus version with all the ramping jazz, just the poor mans reg version, but it sure is a nice light. A little trick you can do with that light or any for that matter that was suggested to me is buy the smaller light, so it stretches to fit but doesn't cover the whole tank. then you can get the shadowy look you want. Others have covered a light with something and poked holes to get more beams of light in. Just some ideas. I know the name kessel from some salt buddies and that name means $ from what I understand!

Looking at your fish and Mark's previous stock lists it seems him and my guys here in Dubai have the same Brazilian supplier.
Nice setup btw
