I was at a gathering recently and the host spayed an organic repellent around. Seemed to work, but sorry I don't know exactly what it was. I just google organic mosquito repellent and saw several products you might consider.
During theses hot summer days I like to stay out side, sipping on my iced tea, but mosquitos like sipping on me!!! Anyone have any advice? Just wondering if someone has a "home remedy" or a "family secret" technique?
When I really want to be outside I'll use bug spray, but I hate that oily feeling on my skin, I have those scented anti-mosquito candles but the cool breeze usually blows the scent away.

These things are amazing for catching all types of bugs. I am seeing them more and more on high end properties.
Very quiet and always see them full of bugs. Not like that old bug zapper your grandpa used to have.

Look up peppermint leaves maybe? There is a leafy green folks sroundhere use that seems to work
Have you tried the deep woods off dry? It works and is not oily.
I use a Thermacell. Works well and unlike citronella, its odorless.
