Decided to update on the current group of 8 discus. Eruption LSS (4" when purchased) is the largest in the tank, though not quite sure how big he is. My best guess is 6.5". The blue diamond was 5.5" when I orginally bought him.

Nice looking tank and group of fish. How long have you had them ?
Im not illiterate...only my phone's auto correct is
That's a beautiful eruption. Looks like I may have to get me some of those!
They are a great looking group of discus Braydon, especially your Jumbo LSS . Great colour and pattern .
Did you experience any breeding activity and pairs in this +1 year period with this group ?
Oh yeah there are eggs in the tank somewhere every other week at this point. I got lucky and got a healthy mix of males and females. The male Blue Diamond and female Virgin Red are a pair, the male Red Cover and female Super Checkerboard Pigeon, and the male LSS and female Fiamma Rossa lay eggs as well. The oddballs are a large female Super Checkerboard who will try to display to the LSS and red cover. The other is the smallest discus in the tank at 4.5" a White Butterfly. I have no desire to breed so I let them do their thing and clean the eggs off the surfaces if bullying gets too out of hand.
that LSS is a beast! I have noticed that LSS generally tend have this huge thick head...has anyone else noticed a similar trend?
Awesome fish ! Juggernaut for sure ! Love the finnage. Gorgeous
