    Default starfire or acrylic?

    Hey hi,
I am planning to have 75-90g BB aquarium for discus. I was wondering if I should buy starfire or acrylic?
In addition, reliable sources to buy used/new starfire/acrylic tanks are welcome.
    Thanks.

If you can afford it, go with acrylic. My next tank will be for sure. Just from the piece of mind of no leaks.

That's not entirely true, acrlyic tanks can leak just as easily at the joints. Sometimes easier than glass due to acrylic's bowing properties. I'd personally go with glass, it's heavier but could end up being cheaper (especially because of the thickness acrylic needed for a large tank to prevent bowing) depending on where you buy it from. Acrylic scratches REALLY easily too, even micro scratches. Some say acrylic is clearer, but with distortion who really knows. I just prefer glass personally. Either are fine choices just depends on your pros and cons list.
