Either that or maybe the dirty substrate take out followed by a big WCs improved the water quallity and their overall condition .

I'm guessing flukes. There was occasional flashing before, which appears to have gone away now. And throughout a week of daily WCs, the fish didn't really change--lethargic, staying at the bottom, eating little--but as soon as the PraziPro was in the tank, they were moving about, doing their normal fighting, and eating well (even the one at the bottom of the totem pole). I'm sure the WCs helped at some level, though--they always do--and I'm already enjoying how much easier it is to clean with the very thin layer of substrate.

Definitely buy it on amazon because it's only around $11 there compared to $17-$20 in a LFS (if you can even find a LFS that carries it). A lot of forum members here prefer to buy pure praziquantel powder from Jehmco.com to save even more money and treat a lot more fish per dollar spent. The other thing to note is that it's usually recommended to treat for 21 days when using a prazi to kill flukes due to their life cycle, this can get very expensive treating all of your tanks using prazipro. If one of your tanks has flukes then odds are that all of your tanks do.

Actually, the only external parasites it kills is adult flukes. And some flukes have developed resistance to it. It is also effective for tapeworms, an internal parasite.
