How did you dose the metro and for how long did you treat?
Problem
1. As the Title suggests, one of my nine discus has not eaten in two weeks. I am extremely concerned about permanent stunting, as the other discus (which were all acquired at the same time, from the same breeder) have already grown noticeably larger. All other fish are eating and appear healthy.
Since I turned up the temperature and begun treating with Metro (approximately 1 week ago), the fish no longer hides in the corner as frequently, but still does not eat.
2. Symptoms: dark stress bars (have abated somewhat after my initial attempts at treatment), clamped fins, hides in corner of aquarium.
3. Medications and treatment already tried: Turning aquarium temperature up to 90F, Metronidazole (Seachem Metroplex, one scoop per 10 gallons as per package instructions).
Tank/Water
4. Tank size and ages: 90 gallon tank, six 3", three 4"
5. Water change regime: 70-80% every other day
6. How long has tank been running: 2 months
- Is it bare bottom: Yes
7. Do you age your water: No
8. Parameters and water source;
- temp 90F
- ph 6.5
- ammonia reading 0
- nitrite reading 0
- nitrate reading 0-5
What type of water or combinations of water sources do you use: municipal water
9. Any new fish, plants or inverts added recently: None
10. Please tell us what you feed your fish and how often. This can be critical information for solving the problem so be as specific as you can.
I feed 4-5x a day from the below selection:

11. Include any pictures or videos you have which shows the symptoms. If you can't add them to this post, please provide a link to them.
How did you dose the metro and for how long did you treat?
Mama Bear
How many mg of metro is in a scoop. It it will say on the box.
Mama Bear
You should be treating at 400 to 500 mg per 10 gallons. Treat for 12 days and change as much as 100% of the water every day, during treatment if you can don't have a pH swing. Keep the temp at 90 degrees. You can get pure metro from Jehmco but don't follow the label instructions. The recommended dosage no longer works.
