When you say other fish are fine do you mean other discus or another type of fish? Just because water quality is ok for other fish does not mean it's sufficient for the discus. Please do out the questionairre it would help.

Most likely the issue. Does this qt tank have a cycled filter ? Just because you add water from the main tank does not mean nothing is wrong with the water. There is no bb in that water to process ammonia. If you have these fish in an uncycled tank you should be doing large water changes and using prime

They are fish so lets start with the basics.....the water they swim in. You need a (filter?) since water from the regular tank won't do anything for you. 20% isn't enough. I don't know how you can say the water is "good" when you haven't checked it. All of your discus are not in this tank right? So, must be something different from your regular tank compared to this quarantine tank you are using. Just because the water is clear, doesn't mean it is clean. Hard to see from the low quality pictures but it looks foggy and dirty. Maybe get some clearer photos of the setup. You are feeding dirty foods in a (cycled?) tank while doing 20% water changes (how many discus?).........You have no idea what level of ammonia or nitrite or nitrate is in the water but you are sure we are on the wrong path to help you?

I don't know why you'd be using dirty water from the main tank for QT tank water?????The main idea is to keep things separated while in QT.10 gal is not big enough and I think you should do 100% fresh WC daily.

I think you didn't acclimate the fish properly and also always use 100% Clean aged water when doing quarantine then do large water change Daily. The fish where it came from had a different parameters. So acclimation is a must and your other fish is fine because they are already acclimated to your water parameters.
