Is hiding in the corner a natural instinct for sick discus?
I was thinking to myself that maybe the hiding in the corner behavior is an instinct that evolved in wild discus populations so that sick fish would swim off and die alone somewhere far away from the school. This would be one way of making sure that the illness or parasites wouldn't be able to spread or infect the entire school. Any other ideas?
