    Default peppering

I have always stayed away from PB discus because I was afraid of peppering. It seems like that is less of a issue now. Is it reasonable to believe that with the purchase of some nice PB discus from Kenny that peppering should be minimal with regular water changes?

Most definitely, granted that you don't have black substrate

My PB strains from Kenny have very minimal peppering. The peppering they do have was my fault having them in a tank with black gravel for a few months

I agree. I assume Kenny/Forrest's breeders have been working to eliminate as much peppering as possible. I have eight beautiful Golden Diamonds and Checkerboard Pigeons from Kenny. No peppering.
