looking good!
Due to Hurricane Irma we lost electricity for 4.5 days and we had only intermittent generator power so the canister filters that were cycling in the garage were 'lost'. After storm clean-up and getting power back late last week we got the 90 gal tank setup in the family room on Sunday.
The driftwood pieces are mounted to marble bases that I made from door/window sills. I used a compound miter saw to cut the driftwood at the desired angles and I used stainless steel screws to attach the driftwood to the marble bases. Finally, I attached rubber 'feet' to the bottom of the marble.
The sand is HTH pool filter sand as recommended by various people here and other aquarium forums.
The plants are: 2 Anubias Nanas mounted on the driftwood branches, Large Anubias Barteri in the center, large Amazon Sword, a 2 Aponogeton Bolivianus bulbs in the back corners.
My wife filtered the sand (1 2/3 bags) before we added it to the tank. There is (obviously) some cloudiness that will hopefully subside over a couple days.
I did a thorough flushing of the Penn Plax canister filters because they were without power for 4.5 days before setting them up in the tank. I have the two intakes in the back corners and the outlets are spray bars from the corners to the center. Hopefully it won't take too long for the filters to cycle. I added Prime, Stability, and API Leaf Zone to the initial water.
The tank has Current USA Freshwater Satellity Plus 48" LED, a Beamswork DA 6500K 48" LED, and a Aqueon Pro 250W heater.
Once the filters cycle, the plan is to use this tank as a community tank with Cardinal Tetras, ?? Tetras, Sterbai Corys, and several Angelfish while we 'grow' juvi Discus in the 40 breeder tank.

looking good!
you built an elaborate stand while you waited for the purchase stand to arrive? that was some backup plan!

The 90 gal community/display tank has two 48" LED lights:
Current USA Satellite Freshwater LED Plus (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
Beamswork DA 6500K 0.5W Series (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
The Current USA LED is closer the the front of the tank while the Beamswork is closer to the back of the tank.
All photos were shot with my Canon 70D/10-22 lens f5.6 @1/40 sec. I didn't notice until the end that the camera was set to ISO 3200 (I normally shoot at ISO 400 barring other considerations).
Just the Current USA White LEDs
Current USA White + Blue LEDs
Beamswork White LEDs
Beamswork White + Blue LEDs
Both Current USA and Beamswork (White + Blue LEDs)

Filters are cycled and added additional fish recently.
Great looking tank Onewolf.
Only thing that's missing right now IMO , is a nice Discus batch and nothing more .
Did you get your discus juvvies for growout yet ?
Do you have a picture of them in their growout tank ?
Looks good. I am curious about the discus as well
