Default Should I do RO mix

My tap water is 8.4 ph and my TDS is 320. I know stable is the key but isn't this
Just way to high . I am thinking to do RO mix . You guys agree ?

This is very similar to my pH and my water is even harder. You could raise juvies and keep adults in your water just fine. Although their natural habitat water is soft and acidic, domestic or cultured strains seem to adjust just fine. Breeding is usually a different story. Wilds probably, too. I think folks usually check to be sure there aren't nitrates in their water, and of course, treating for chlorine and chloramines.

My tap water comes out around 360 TDS. This is most likely fine for raising out the adults in my display tank but since I also have fry tanks and breeding tanks I have been using an RO system to mix with my tap water to lower the TDS.
