Jacklyn,
Congrats, very nice.

On Monday my wild green tefe pair spawned a 6th time, I figured the same as every other time (eaten before hatch) would happen again but this time I got wrigglers after 48 hours. Unfortunately the female ate the wrigglers during breakfast today. I am not sure if she was confused with the floating FDBW or if she was being protective because I was filming, but I managed to catch her actually begin to eat them while I was filming. So that was sad but the best news is I have a confirmed pair. Will be moving them to their own 30 gal soon. Yay!! Some pictures and a video:
spawn #6a.jpgspawn #6b.jpg
and a video, at then end you can hear me screaming "NO!!!" so turn volumn down

Congrats Jacklyn Would suggest letting them go once more in the main tank and see if you can get the having the wigglers attach. Would also suggest watching from afar.

Your discus are talking to you....are you listening
thanks pat I was thinking one more time in the main tank myself and leaving them alone. the one thing I did differently this time was put a tiny light over the tank on the end where the cone is. last 5 spawns I had left the entire light on during the night time. I have the 30gallon tank ready to move them to when its time
