Best post pictures of your setup and water parameters to get a better idea of the situation
I have two heckle discus in my 60 gallon. My others died sadly.
They are displaying lack of interest behavior and pointing their
noses to the back of the tank. They don't come out and swim
and they are very finicky about eating. I think because there is
only two of them they are not social in their interaction and
have become isolated. What to do to stir their interest.

These fish have been in the tank for over 8 months. They are use to
their surroundings. I put some food in the tank and took these pictures.
They are not interested. Lately I have noticed that they don't eat until
I leave the room.

You'll probably find that adding more discus to the tank will help lots. l'm sure all your water paramatres are correct??
We're here for a good time...not a long time
My tefe greens were like that when they were a group of 4. After qt and a few months I ended up with a group of 11 and they were extremely active. Don't skip the qt procedure if you do add.
+1 for adding more discus. They are schooling fish so they feel much more comfortable in groups

Or add other dither fish, they will feel more comfortable when they see other fish out and about. Large tetras or the like
Thanks for the comments. All if favor of adding more fish.
