Default Lily pipe or one large return

I am new to discus and doing my research before I setup my tank. I know discus don’t like strong currents so do you suggest a Lilly pipe on the outflow or just a regular head?

Falsehoods....my 75 gal. tanks had anywhere from 1000 to 1200 gallons an hour turn over rates.

I run lots of current in my discus tanks as well, but that's because it's filled with 6" fish. If I had 2" discus, that would be a different story. Having said that, I've never made any provision for reducing water outflow. Discus do not require still water.
