    Thanks guys, I really appreciate all the advices I got in this forum. Tuesday all the stuff I ordered will arrive so maybe wednesday I will start to cycle the discus tank.

    Thank you for the advice. After add ammonia, do you recommed a partial (50%) of water change before start to add the fishes ?

    You add ammonia , bottled bacteria and measure parameters daily . After 2-3 weeks whrn the cycle is completed there should be only nitrates detectable without ammonia or nitrites .
    Once you achieve that you can put your discus in . I always prefer to do 100% WC one day before I introduce my new discus in a new tank.
