White Gelatinous Gunk Coming Out of My Discus
Hi All,
I have one that isn't eating and it has expelled tremendous amounts of the above described stuff which I had assumed was fat that had built up. This stuff is whitish translucent and comes out as about 2-3 inches in length.
I've been treating in a hospital tank at 90-92 f. with Metro at one gram per 15 gals. every day and Kanamycin as recommended every three days. It won't touch frozen blood worms which is something that is basically the last thing they'll eat before they stop or start eating again.
Two weeks later it's still not eating and also occasionally passing the same stuff.

I had the same thing happen to my panda.. it was like that for over 1 month.. i treated with metro 2 x a day, twice the dosage with 75% w/c everyday. it is fine now. but it took a long time to get it back to normal.

You might want to go with levamisole.

I’d like to know would it be as if they are trying to poop and it’s coming out like you described rather than like brown poop ?
