Yep squeeze them into a ball then submerge them in the water and squeeze them and they should sink
Or get a worm feeder
After many bags of freeze dried black worm cubes I now have a bag of loose worms. Any way to feed these other than drop them into the tank and let float.

I use a worm feeder and it helps keep the worms from being sucked into my overflows. I recommend them.
Use a worm feeder inverted, works like a charm.
I bought some worm feeders on amazon but my fish always knock them off of the glass. I have a bunch of fines that i’ve been accumulating. I always throw my fines into my frozen seafood mix when I make it, it’s a good way to use them without making a huge mess in my tank. Even when my fish tried to eat the fines thru the worm feeder, they would always just bite and blow/spit everything back out. I think they get a much larger mouthful than they want or expected. When they spit it out it must be like when a person eats a tablespoon of cinnamon powder.
How about presoaking them for a couple of seconds in a cup with water prior feeding ?
Then you just pour the FDBW slowly with the water in the tank .
I always mix the loose worms into my beefheart mix whenever I am making a new batch. Adds a little extra flavor that the discus love.
