long time viewer ,first time poster !! I got back in to discus last week after a few years . i managed to get a female laying eggs with in less then a week of getting her. Problem now is who is the mate ? first 2 days was 1 now she moved the eggs to the other side of the tank. Now i have another standing guard with her .

I have never heard of a discus moving eggs. So either she laid again or the eggs are actually wigglers. Another possibility is you have two females laying. Best to watch them spawn and note the breeding tubes. Females are larger with a squared off end and males are smaller with a pointy end.

Welcome smoke_2much and glad to have you joined in on the forum after 3 years.
I have to agree with Pat...they will spit ones that fall back on where eggs were laid.
Females do not need a male to lay eggs just means they won't be fertile.
