    I see you have measurable ammonia and nitrite. Did you cycle the tank? Potentially you have a mini cycle after
    adding the fish. Either way should probably up the wcs.

    Why the RO mix?

    Nope, just have some potted plants and driftwoods.

    The RO water would give me a lower pH. Is is possible for me to change to tapwater only when the difference between the tank water and tap water is so great?

    That's why you age. Your tap water ph is fine. The aging is to eliiminate the fluctuation and removal micro bubbles.

    You can slowly raise the tank ph with wcs.

    I was also going to suggest doing away with the RO water mix and going straight aged treated tap water.

    Less is more. Forget R/O, condition your tap water and make large/frequent water changes. All your problems will go away.
