Default Lost track of Metro treatment days

    Hello All!

I've been treating suspected Hex with Metro for about 5 days now. I say "about" because I've actually lost track of the number (terrible I know). My intention was to treat for 12 days so I want to continue for another 7, but am worried about the true number. I know I'm definitely not past 6 days.

Question is this: If I accidentally treat for 13 days rather than 12, will that be detrimental to the fish?

Further info below from the questionnaire. Thank you for any and all help!

    1. Not eating. suspect Hex.

    2. White/clear stringy feces. Everything else seems fine though: color, activity, fins, etc. Feces still observed after~5 days of metro treatment.

    3. Metro powder from JEHMCO. ~5 days so far at 400mg/10g every 24 hours after 90% WC.

    4. 40g B. 5 Juvies. ~3.5in.

    5. 90-100% WC daily.

    6. BB tank, running ~6 months.

    7. 24 hour aged tap water, aerated, treated with Prime. no detectable PH swing after aging.

    8. Zero Ammo, Trites & Trates. PH ~8.0. Temp usually kept at 83 F but high 80's during treatment.

    9. No new fish added.

    10. Homemade mix in morning and evening (BH, seafood, veggies), FDBW 3 times auto feed during day.

It won't harm them. You can go a few more days if need be.
