Default Lump observed for my golden lollipop :(

    Hi everyone,

It's been a week I'm observing a lump on my 4 inch golden lollipop. Since then I was observing this fish closely & never noticed it's poop. It stays in the corner most of the time & never active but eats at least some when fed. I have made the water quality test & all were as recommended. I have tested the same with petsmart & the readings were good too.

Three days back I have moved the fish to my 15G hospital tank with temperature set to 92F added with epsom salt 2 & half table spoons. I'm not feeding anything yet because it's not pooping & I still can notice the lump on its tummy.

Can someone please suggest me what is it undergoing with & how can I treat?

    Thank you.

92 degrees is too high, take it back down to 82. also, add salt at a much higher rate, as in one tablespoon per two gallons. so 7.5 tablespoons

its bloat by the way but 2 tablespoons of salt isn't enough to cure bloat

Thanks Jacklyn & may I know how long should I leave the fish with salt added to water?

Just wondering, are epsom salts worthwhile in this situation?
Lifting dictionaries literally strengthens your muscles.

until he passes the blockage and you see him eating and pooping regularly. it should happen pretty quickly

Thank you all for your quick responses.
By the time I have reached home yesterday to treat the fish as suggested it was dead. I felt very bad that I should have posted this question at least a day before, probably I would have saved it
