Nice to know some good folks still exist out there in this world !!
Good day to you all... as some of you may know or have seen, I have tried to sell my aquarium and the fish due to my life becoming rather hectic and under duress and not having the time or flexibility to care for them. I haven’t had many great offers for them nor have I felt the offers by way of Craigslist etc were even from folks who could properly care for them.
That being said my mother has offered a place in her basement closer to where I’m currently staying to house them which is great but now the big move !!
I was wondering if someone local to Long Island, NYC or NJ would be willing to give up some time to help me with such a move ? I’d be happy to negotiate some form of compensation for the time.
If anyone is willing to help me out please PM me here or text my cell 609—500—3011.
Thanks a lot guys.

Your discus are talking to you....are you listening
It's a common problem for aquarists.
I have a double stand slowly rotting away. It holds a 110 gal tank on top and a 75 on the bottom. Sometime in the Summer, or when the temperature goes above 35F, I need to build a stand and paint it. Then I need to bring the stand down the basement, drain both tanks, move the fish out of the top one (the bottom one is a reservoir), move the 110 gal tank down and do the same with the 75. I'll replace the rotten stand with the new one, put the 110 gal tank back up and do the same with the 75. The 75 has been snugly in the bottom of the stand for so long, I'll probably have to destroy the old stand to take the tank out!
Sigh...
At my age, everything is irritating.
