Lightbulb Do I need to reseal the tank?

This big tank is sitting empty because I’m thinking it should be resealed. I did ask the seller if it holds water and he did have it filled all the way up to show me it’s water tight...which is good but looking at the seams, hmmm I’m not comfortable in the long term use of it.
I’m including a couple of photos. I hope the photos are good enough to view and aren’t upside down.
I’ve never resealed a aquarium before or ever...how do I go about doing this?
    I need HELP!

Big tanks are a massive pain. Do some trial runs on scrap if you can, and see if someone can lend you a hand with removing tape, smearing, etc. Don't try to cleanup any drips until it dries, just scrape it off with a razor after it cures.
