    Yes, I remember your discussion of halos. Very interesting. Might happen more with greens than Cuipeuas. But did you have fish with stronger stress bars only in half of their bodies?

    Only one Mauro and currently I think it is using the bar to show dominance. I am pretty sure the female Cuipeua display a nice halo. Think I have an older thread showing that http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showth...ighlight=halos.

    Hello There,

    Ya gotta love "wilds" - at least *I* do. I just can't help myself. They look great, and I hope they have settled down.

    I'm currently researching for my first Discus tank. I've held off until retirement because I want wilds, and all the water prep and changes will be difficult until I develop a routine.

    If you don't mind my asking, what are the parameters of your tap water, what conditioning are you doing, and what are your tank values?
