Ryan, good luck with your new setup, and with your larger Discus setup in the future.

I hope it’s not too long before you get your dream tank and fish. If I remember correctly, Jenene you and I all got our discus around the same time. You became very proficient very quickly. I aiways liked reading your posts and advice, thoughts and plans (until now anyway). Thanks for sharing your knowledge with me. I’ll look forward to tuning in to your next journey.

Me Al! What am I chopped liver? You know I like the good stuff. I can even pronounce your Laganitas now. Maybe not spell it but I can say it and that’s all that really matters. Sorry Ryan you got me going on the IPAs. I can keep up with you guys now. Be afraid.

Ryan, start a thread in the Marine section. Then Al can still find you for a pint or three. Win win.

Thanks for all the well wishes guys. I definitely do miss my friends. Here. I've been so busy with work and my transition to the dark side I haven't even checked in. Figure I would post a few pics

I diy'd pretty much all I could. I built the stand and sump. Drilled the tank and plumbed. 21820189024.jpg21820189050.jpg218201885942.jpg226201885042.jpg2182018904.jpg

    Hi Ryan.
Great to see the progress of your reef tank. Looking forward to seeing it progress further. Thanks for giving us a peek at your new project. Good luck with it mate!

Thanks Joe! Good to see you buddy. Hope all is well.

It's been a long 2 month cycle process. Not quite a reef tank yet. As of now it's an algae tank lol. It's amazing how different the stages are with a reef. Just got a decent sized clean up crew in there so hopefully they can mow the lawn and I can have some fish soon. Trying as hard as I can to be patient and wait on adding coral. So difficult!
