Just wondering if someone was to build a very large and good filter sytem would that be able to cut back on waterchanges for the discus. Or if a person was to remove the water and filter it could it then be reused.

Many have tried. Nothing beats fresh clean water to reduce harmful chemicals, germs, viruses, and parasites. I look forward to your attempt and results. I could not do it.
