Color, definitely.
I'm Interested in your thoughts on these images.. Do you Prefer the Color or the Monochrome(black and White) and what you like about it.

Color, definitely.
I like the first one in color. The browns are very subtle and make the pic much richer. The BW feels kind of cold. After pondering the second pic I actually prefer the BW. It was a hard decision because the picture appears to be all about color. But the BW version feels so much more dramatic.

1. Monochrome. It enhances the subject and in color there is a distraction on top left corner that almost disappears in monochrome.
2. Color for me. It's a bit of a cliche pic but it always works in this format. In monochrome, it loses the subject a bit and the contrast is too harsh for this subject.
Of course, these are just IMHO. I like both shots themselves tho

I like the color, but see what Ric is taking about. Can that left corner be lightened up in the first pic?
Thanks Guys appreciate the thoughts and feedback. On the first Pic, That "upper left corner" thing was actually intentional in post processing... I was playing with Vignetting trying to draw more attention to the Bird by having it come out of the shadows, and at the same time cover up a tree shadow without cropping... Lol. Ah well I liked the results with both vignetting and not..
Heres the non-vignetted version...

Al, I do prefer the second image in color. I love the subtle hint of fall in the foliage and the constrast in texture of the trees and rocks. In the B&W I think the rocks overpower the trees a bit. I think I prefer the second image in color also even thru white birds are such a B&W natural.
