Whats the differnce between Paraguard and Polyguard?

I googled polyguard vs paraguard and found several posts. I also went to Seachem's site to look them both up. You might try that. I think it's the paraguard they said is not for marine use, but check.

From what I understand I find Paraguard advetised as an safe alternative for Formaline or FMG mixed meds . Meaning that it should be mainly used against Parasitic -protozoan infections .
Polyguard being mostly antibiotic sulfathiazole and mixed with Furan - based ingredients sounds like a better option for systematic bacterial and fungal diseases .
