I haven't yet found any specific info about discus vision but if most fish have colour vision I see no reason for discus eyes to be any different .
Here is some basic and common fish vision info from wikipedia claiming most fish see colours :

A lot of people have said that they’ve found that their discus more readily eat red colored foods as compared to other colors so I guess that implies that discus can differentiate colors. I’ve never had any issues with my discus eating a variety of different colored foods. My seafood mix usually comes out a yellowish green color and my fish eat it with gusto.

Most fish see colors, that is the reason of the vibrant on fishing lures.
Breeding , interest and goals Wilds Heckels and Cuipeuas and a few Domestics pairs with occasional fry as well as Angels fancy Plecos , corys and shrimps.

Thanks seeing that they possibly see color, is it possible that when choosing a mate the color is a factor. Like if a discus sees another one of a bright color there is an attraction?
