I have wild-type I bought from Kenny a while back (I think from Dr Teoh). It's a strong fish, but it has the football shape I usually avoid in the domestics I buy. Does it have value in a breeding program, for gene diversity for instance, despite it's shape? Wondering what the thoughts were out there.
A wild type or even a wild cross could be generations away from a wild discus. Unless there are some specific traits about this discus that interest you then I wouldn't.
