Default Is a Fluval FX6 to Much for a 90 Gallons (340 Liters)

Bought this new years ago on sale at Petsmart and would like to use it but my largest tank is a 90 gal.

Is this extreme overkill? I'm using two Eheim 2270's in circuit, one is the prefilter to the ehfisubstrat pro (bio media) canister with an 8 watt. UV coming off of that. I'm also using an Aquaclear 110 HOB.

Two Eheim 2270 should be plenty for 90 if you are doing frequent water changes.
But, if you are still planning to add FX6 my only suggestion is make sure the output of the flow is directed towards a glass, cause its too strong flow for a 90g.

can never have enough filtrations! but 2 eheim and a 110 aquaclear is great. u can add the fx6 for even more filtrations. only thing ill be worry about is the flow.

It looks like I'd be adding a jet engine to a car in a household driveway, lol, but I'd kill the Eheims if I went this way.
