Default Lf advice on over flow

I just got my new 75g tank today am gong to be drilling it soon just looking for some advice on what style of over flow to do . I want to have a main over flow with a back up/ safety over flow . Should I get a black over flow box or just have the pipes going in to tank . Was looking for options

I dig the internal/external style with a thin overflow in the tank and the plumbing outside. Kind of hard to describe, but they look like this https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/16-sh...ergy-reef.html. Really slick and easy to maintain.

There are better options than the Synergy but regardless of what overflow type you go with, "bean animal" is king.

Not familiar with Eshopps, but it looks good. My only concern would be the clear external box growing algae. Not a big deal if it's hidden behind the tank.

Probably a bit more than you need. What type of sump are you running? Something like a Poret sump only needs 4-5x turnover but wet/dry can run 10x no problem.

Yes, the valves will help to control the water height in the overflow. The emergency does not get any sort of valve.
