Here’s a 6 week update, haven’t taken any measurements but they’re a tad bigger, just power feeding and water changes!06F43279-F860-4A02-95AB-11225ABB3133.jpg

Those are very nice! I just bought 13 2 1/2 inchers from Hans the other day. I selected each one a different strain including a silver pigeon. Hope he turns out nice like yours.

That is an excellent group, can't wait to see the final transformation on those. Nice shape and cleaner that many White Butterflies I have seen around.
Breeding , interest and goals Wilds Heckels and Cuipeuas and a few Domestics pairs with occasional fry as well as Angels fancy Plecos , corys and shrimps.

Thanks SidJones and Pardal! My first group had a lot of ups and downs, 2014-2018 still have some of them but now that I’ve got the hang of it I thought I’d try a single type grow out tank.

Hey Geoff these are amazing looking fish...I posted on your other thread as well...you obviously know what you're doing with raising discus so I mean no disrespect, but I have a question; I just watched your "feeding time" youtube vid...it seems there is a lot of food in the tank...can you tell me how to gauge how much to feed discus? Is it like other fish where you feed what they will consume in 2-3 minutes?
At what point will you move them into a bigger tank?
    Thanks mate,
    Danny
