    Default Alex's 90 gal - Fluidized K1 - Constant drip - Money Pit

Wanted to start a thread on what I have been working on as K1 Sumps and Constant drip systems do not seem to be that popular.

    Basic Setup:

    DIY stand

    Standard 90 gal tank/ Drilled with H2overflow.

    finnex temp controller
    2x300 watt finnex heaters
jaboa pump up to 1800 gph.

    DIY upflow agae scrubber.

    Beamworks 120 led lights

20 gallon long diy drilled sump with baffles.

    Filter socks.

3m Carbon block filter with 1/4 line and drip emitters

IMHO, it is best to keep things simple. I don't see any need to run an algae scrubber with a drip system, if your nitrates are rising simply up the flow on the drip emmiter. you gotta keep in mind that the algae scrubber lights will use plenty of electricity, so I don't see any benefit of having a algae scrubber when you are using a drip system. But thats just my opinion.

How is it running? I'm thinking of running a carbon drip to my tank. Thanks
