    I don't think hes going to survive. Hes laying on the floor of the aquarium, breathing really slowly. Really sad to see it dying.

    Do you have any tips for the future to prevent something like this from happening again?

    Always Quarantine any new additions for 6 weeks before adding to main tank. We have not determined what the cause may be so guessing brings us no further ahead. First thing is always suspect water source or perimeters of tank water before jumping the gun dropping in meds not knowing what exactly your treating for.

    I managed to take some better pictures and his belly has turned white! I hope this can be helpful.
    That's for all your help.

    Edit: Unfortunately, the fish just died after I took the picture and posted it.

    Sorry you lost it Lemon...don't get discouraged as at times there are no explanations when a healthy fish suddenly dies which has happened to me a number of times. Make the right choices for the next time and keep up on water quality.
