    Default Dwarf Chain Loach

    Hi all,
Planning out my new tank (110 gallon) and was looking at bottom dweller options. I really like the look of the dwarf chain loach and think it might be a good alternative to the typical cories that are recommended.
    Anyone with experience with them?
Will they be too rambunctious for the discus?
I would buy a group of 8-10 if I went this route.
    TIA.

Chain loaches are fantastic fish to keep in a well structured tank with lots of hiding places such as plants and rocks. They are also very boisterous fish, often swimming in middle/top water space and "playing" with other fish. Much as I like my group of 10 I would not put them anywhere near my discus tank - far too much character.

Thanks! I agree in that they look like fantastic fish, but your comments confirm my concern that they may be too active for the "soothing" discus tank I'm after.
I'll pass on them this go around.
    Much appreciated.
